Gabriel is One!

On March 30, 2010 my little man turned one! We were on our way home from visiting dear friends in Southeast Texas and we stopped to have a birthday breakfast at IHOP.

We had his party on April 10th at the house....here are all the decorations and getting ready for the party.

The welcome sign...

"Happy 1st Birthday Gabriel" Banner

The morning of the party.... feeding Poppy goldfish....

We were blessed to have many friends come and celebrate with us and enjoy burgers grilled by James. Thank you honey, they were de-lish!

An irresistible smile!

The kids enjoyed feeding the goats.... and the beautiful weather that we had that day.

The cake! This was my first attempt to use fondant and I really liked the way it turned out.

The Birthday Boy!

Big sister posing with him....

Imagine that we are singing "Happy Birthday" to him quickly before the candle burns the horse's mane... :-)

"Um, I'm not so sure about this mama...."

"Oh wait! Now this is some good stuff!"

"Thanks, mama! That was yummy!"

Gift time....

Boy toys!

"I've had enough for one day!"

Hannah was enjoying the pretty day and all the festivities too :-)

And a couple of parting pictures of my sweet boy at his party. We thank God every day for bringing him into our lives and we look forward to watching him grow up.
